As a startup driven by solving problems for real people, the impact we have is how we measure our success. We are constantly striving to provide as much value as possible, to as many people as possible. As we are just starting out these metrics are impact goals for our year ahead.
Youth-led Social Impact Initiatives
We surveyed youth aged between 16-23 across Australia and asked how important having their voices heard was and what was stopping them from expressing their voice.
On average respondents rated the importance of 'having their voices heard' as an 8.9/10
about 29% said that they lacked the platform & opportunities to have their voices heard
about 27% had fears of being judged & lacking credibility
The rest identified things like age, gender, time and school requirements as limiting factors
We want to provide opportunities for young people to use the skills they learn through our learning experiences to create real social change. Additionally, the opportunity to engage at a 1 on 1 level with changemakers across different industries can create deep relationships and ensure that youth perspectives are listened to
